In this video I talk about my positive experience of an upper endoscopy / gastroscopy on the NHS with IV sedation. Possibly filmed while still under the effects of the sedative, ha ha! :)
A Gastroscopy (upper endoscopy) is having a tube with a camera on the end put through your mouth into your stomach so that they can check if there is anything visibly wrong.
These are short, regular video journals showing my chronic illnesses and how I live with them as a disabled woman in her 20s. I'm a wheelchair user with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), digestive problems, hypoglycaemia, gluten intolerance and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTs).
